2018 Cowhorn Grenache/Syrah

This was our first year working with the esteemed biodynamic Cowhorn Vineyard in the Applegate Valley. We harvested the Grenache and Syrah on the same day, de-stemming most and leaving a portion of whole cluster of each varietal. These co-fermented in two open-top fermenters at cool temperatures for about two weeks, then we pressed them together and aged the blend in neutral oak for almost two years.
